Project Location: Atlanta, GA

Initial Bid Amount: $18,772,045

Description:   Consisted of replacing 3 existing centrifuges used to thicken the plant’s
waste and primary sludge. It included new pumps, piping & valves to each
of the 5 existing digesters which required extensive coordination with on
going plant operations. The project also included a biological odor control
system for the waste and primary sludge.

This project was concurrently constructed during 3 other projects under
contract with Heavy Constructors. Total of all 4 contracts $18,772,045.
