Description: The scope of the project was constructing a pretreatment WWTP as part of $75,000,000 chicken broth process facility for Diana Foods, Inc. owned by the City of Commerce. Work included treatment building, pump station, and seven (7) process bolted tanks.  Within 8 weeks of starting the project, Heavy was requested to bring the pump station on line early, which was accomplished.  Also, Heavy worked closely with the new plant to allow early testing to assist startup with Diana Foods. The new facility could not be brought into production until the WWTP facility was fully operational.  This required Heavy Constructors (Heavy) to work closely with the design engineer to develop solutions to design changes on the fly.  Due to the seven month critical schedule, Heavy achieved this time goal by working extreme extended hours with zero recordable injuries.
